About me

Based in St. Louis, MO, I specialize in helping dogs rediscover trust, confidence, and connection, especially those from tough beginnings.

As a Fear Free certified, IAABC Shelter Behavior Associate, and AKC Evaluator, I bring over five years of dog rescue experience and a strong foundation in positive reinforcement.

Before working with dogs, I spent six years in equine rescue, where I developed a deep respect for how animals learn, heal, and grow when given patience and compassion.

My path to dog training was shaped not just by a lifelong love of animals, but also by personal experience with trauma. I understand what it means to feel afraid, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. That’s why I’m especially drawn to working with behavioral cases – dogs who are feral, fearful, shut down, or struggling to adjust. Together, we work at their pace, building trust and helping them feel safe in the world again.

Canine Confidence by Randy, I don’t just teach obedience – I help dogs and their people rebuild relationships from the ground up. Every dog deserves to feel safe, seen, and understood – and so do you. Let’s build confidence, together.
